Manganese nitride is formed from manganese powder by reacting with nitrogen. Manganese nitride, whose chemical formula is MnN, is a compound of manganese and nitrogen. The manganese nitride powder produced by Huarui has high content of main elements and low content of harmful impurities, which can improve nitrogen utilization rate after adding into melt. Manganese nitride can be slowly decomposed by water and dissolved in a nonoxidizing dilute acid to form ammonium salts. Manganese nitride is mainly used as a nitrogen additive in steelmaking production, which can improve the strength of steel and other mechanical properties, refine grain, and stabilize austenite.
